#FUNDYFLAKES
Fundy flakes is the local name for the effect of (relatively) warm wet air flowing off the Bay of Fundy, hitting cold air over land and dropping big fluffy flurries on us here in Digby County. Those fundy flakes can really add up and turn Digby County into a veritable winter wonderland - and create some extremely fotogenic landscapes.
We want to let the world know how beautiful our winters are - please share your best fun-in-the-snow photos of sledding, skiing, snow sculptures, forts and snowmobiling from around Digby County.
You can email them to jriley@municipality.digby.ns.ca or message Jonathan Riley on Facebook or simply post them on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #fundyflakes
